And, here we are, back again in the Fall season, where people create and participate in the most active and fun hobbies to create a nostalgic experience for many years to come.
Every season has opportunities for every person, no matter if they're tired or not in the mood, to engage in productive things, like baking, crafting, knitting, sculpting, etc. Not only will being more active in participating in hobbies heal your mental clarity, but it will also contribute to the way society shifts and will change your perception of people, whether you know them or not.
That being said, here are the 5 unique hobbies that you can start on today, tomorrow, or even next week.

A journal, no matter the length or words, makes a huge difference in the way a person is self-aware and visualizes their past, current or future experiences. Writing journals boosts creativity, which is key for a person to strive mentally and gain confidence without feeling the need to copy others because they think it's better than their own.
Let's say you had a bad day, and you want to vent and take out any negative energy that you claimed during your day; with just 15 minutes of writing, it can become a therapeutic tool to ease your stress and anxieties and uphold the way you think, speak and write.

2. Cleaning the House
Cleaning your whole house can be tiring, but it can become a sentimental hobby when you start to get the hang of it. My advice is to start with the little things first, like changing the bedsheets of your bed, organizing your closet, removing any dust from your drawer, decluttering any dirty paper in your backpack, and getting rid of that empty; useless shoe box that you had in your closet since 2014 and sweeping the floor mat.
Take some time to relax, recuperate your sanity, and listen to music to start with the big things such as cleaning the bathroom, sweeping the kitchen, throwing away the trash, and cleaning out any dirt from windows and couches. This may seem like a tough hobby to do, especially at a young age, but when you try this at least once, you will see that it may be more productive and mindful than first thought.

3. Suizen
Suizen, which is a Japanese spiritual instrument, is a practice used to play bamboo flutes as a blowing meditation. The instrument is used to blow into the flute and follow the sound of the flute to acclaim self-awareness and concentration. Suizen is also a notable instrument to develop musical skills with other instruments such as violin, trumpet, harmonica, etc., and build mental clarity and confidence. Not only that, but it will also make you learn more about Japanese culture and embed yourself in their traditions, no matter if you're of Japanese heritage or not.

4. Soap Carving
In case you wanted to know something to increase your artistic skills, here it is. Soap carving is a technique that is about using bar soap to create sculptures and/or drawings on the top layer of the soap bar. Soap carving is a very fun artistic activity if you’re interested in becoming more creative and knowledgeable in drawing, sculpturing, and other types of art.
By soap carving, you’ll also expand your network with like-minded artists who see soap carving as a sign of art, therefore, increasing your art portfolio and making yourself a skilled artist. Let’s say you have an art project due in a few weeks and you don’t know anything about painting or drawing; if you just take at least 10-30 minutes of your day learning about drawing and practicing your drawing on soap, you’ll become more confident and intelligent in the field of art.

5. Geocaching
If you’re a fan of adventuring or have someone who is a fan of adventuring and wants to try it out with them, try geocaching. Geocaching uses GPS to find items in random, empty places such as mazes, cornfields, roads, forests, etc. Geocaching is the best way to increase your productivity and analytics in problem-solving tasks and become more agile when it comes to working toward success. Geocaching is very fun when you're locked on the adventure of finding things that are valuable or when you want to learn more about nature.
