1. Make A Schedule

Staying organized is a must in junior year. It's important to keep track of when assesments are due, when tests are, and everything in between! Having a schedule can help you stay on top of things and help you prioritize what you need to.

2. Have A Balance

When making your schedule (as mentioned earlier), make sure to have a balance. Make sure to leave yourself time to do things that you enjoy, such as hanging out with friends, doing your hobbies, or even just relaxing! Having a balance is so important to keep yourself satisfied and not stressed.

Your wellbeing should be your biggest priority! If you ever feel stressed or overwhelmed, try talking with someone like a friend, your teacher, or your parents.

3. Study for the SAT and PSAT

Studying for the SAT is super important. Many colleges use the SAT as a part of evaluating college applicants, and havinga. good score can make a good impression. Take some time every day or two to just go through practice questions, review any concepts you're struggling with, and don't forget to register to take the test! Even if you don't plan on going to college, the SAT can show how strong you are at certain reading and math skills!

The PSAT can be very helpful as well. The PSAT can show how prepared you are for the SAT and college. Additonally, doing good on the PSAT can make you a National Merit Semifinalist (and even potentially a Fianlist or Scholar), which opens up the potential for scholarships at several universities!

4. Look At Potential Careers

If you don't know what career you don't want to do yet, try looking at some careers you may be interested in. You could do Google searches, talk with people in various careers, and watch videos! Even if you don't find out what you like to do in junior year, that's okay! Exploration is a part of the process, and looking at potential careers could potentially help you decide on plans for your future.

5. Have Fun!

Yes, it is very important to do what you need to get done, but make sure to leave some time for yourself as well. Try new things, grow your passions, and have fun!

Those are some of the biggest things that I feel like you should focus on! Below are some other factors that I feel like are important as well!

Other Important Things

Do College Visits- If you plan on going to college, tour some colleges! This can help you decide where you want to apply!

Try Some New Extracurriculars- Try some extracurriculars you're interested in, and maybe even grow your current ones! If you find a career that you're intersted in, try doing some extracurriculars related to that careeer!

Get Good Sleep- Sleep is very important. Have a sleep schedule, don't procrastinate, and make sure that you're well-rested.

Don't Procrastinate- I know I said this earlier, but things can pile up really quickly, especially in junior year, so make sure to stay on top of things!
