The Front Man oversees the game and controls the island where it takes place. Player 1 is the mastermind behind the game, playing without revealing his true identity. In the end, of the 456 players, Seong Gi-hun won 45.6 billion won and was sent back home. Alongside Gi-hun, there were other players. A North Korean girl, Kang Sae-book, came to South Korea and participated in the Squid Game to earn money. Her mother was in North Korea, and she wanted to bring her back. Season 2 Overview

Released on December 26, 2024, the second season of Squid Game presents a deeper narrative and features various unique Korean games. In this season, Seong Gi-hun again participates to uncover the mastermind behind the game and put a stop to it. A policeman, Hwang Jun-ho, assists Seong Gi-hun and stands alongside him. What We Know About Season 3

Season 3 will pick up from the end of Season 2. It showcases Seong Gi-hun's complete journey and how he manages to stop the Squid Game. The secret identity of Player 1—who is the Front Man—will be revealed, and Policeman Hwang Jun-ho is shown to be his brother.

This season also uncovers the reasons behind the game's inception. Reports suggest that Season 3 will have six episodes, making it shorter than previous seasons. Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk announced that Season 3 is a continuation of Season 2 but was divided due to the lengthy storyline.

Like the previous seasons, it was premiered on Netflix. Fans of Squid Game are eagerly waiting for its launch all over the world. It’s set to end at the end of June, and by then, I (as well as most other students) will be free from my exams, which will allow us to watch this series.

I think before the launch of the season 3, I will again rewatch the previous seasons before the launch of season 3. I am very excited about this new season but also a bit sad. Why? Because this is the last season, and after it, other shows won't just be the same.

In all, I hope we will enjoy the next season and find fulfillment in our expectations. The last season will bring new joy and conclude the story. This season will promise to be the best ending for a thriller series. Seriously, it's going to.
