Game 1: Right from the start, the tension is palpable as both the players choose solid openings to test each other's skills. Ding plays with his usual calmness, taking a steady approach while Gukesh brimming with youthful enthusiasm plays with sharp tactics. After a long even match, Ding starts to shine!
He gradually takes control and forced Gukesh into a tough spot. After a long battle, Ding secures to win. He's ahead now but Gukesh has shown he got the power in further matches.
Game 2: In the second game, Gukesh comes in with a fresh attitude. The match quickly heats up with both players diving into a don't blame me attitude. Inspite the tension, Ding managed to make a draw. Ding still leads but Gukesh has proven he is a formidable opponent!

Between games, both the players took a short break, that's when an interviewer approached them and asked Gukesh," So, do you have a special plan for the next game?" To which he replied," Yes, my plan is simple, outsmart Ding…or try my best". The interviewer turned to Ding and asked," and what's your plan, Ding?" To which he replied “ My plan? Just not to fall for Gukesh's traps!” Everyone burst into laughter with Gukesh laughing and shaking his head!

3: Game 3 is a Win-win for Ding Liren
In Game 3 of the 2024 World Chess Championship, Ding Liren managed to pull ahead of Gukesh D with the hard earned win. As the game processed, Gukesh started to get tensed, & Ding took advantage of it.
After the match, Gukesh was understandably bummed but kept his spirit high, while Ding, jokingly said," I think you need a nap Gukesh." Even with the tough loss, Gukesh 's determination shone though.

In a jaw dropping twist, Gukesh D snagged an incredible victory in Game 4 of the CWC, taking down Ding Liren and earning his first World Chess Champion title.
When the final move was made, The chess community went wild ( Infact I jumped off my chair at the scene!) - Gukesh not only won the game but also tied the match at 2.5-2.5 forcing a tie breaker.
