Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton's beachfront Malibu home was destroyed by the Palisades fires. On X and Instagram, Hilton wrote: “Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience.” As a result, Hilton launched an emergency fund through her non-profit 11:11 Media Impact which, as of January 15th, has raised over $800,000. Hilton also pledged a $150,000 grant to GoFundMe to provide cash assistance to 150 Altadena families who have lost their homes. Moreover, Hilton has helped our furry friends, volunteering at a local animal shelter, the Pasadena Humane Society, to aid animals who have been separated from their families in the fires.

Jennifer Garner

Although fortunately not losing her home, actress Jessica Garner revealed in a MSNBC interview that she lost a friend in the fire. “I did lose a friend. She didn’t get out in time," Garner said. Jamie Lee Curtis

After having to evacuate her Pacific Palisades home, actress Jamie Lee Curtis pledged to donate $1 million to start a fund to support people impacted by the fires. “… my husband and I and our children have pledged $1 million from our Family Foundation to start a fund of support for our great city and state and the great people who live and love [in LA],” Curtis wrote on Instagram. Curtis also appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on January 8th and shed light on the devasting California fires. She urged people to continue to support their friends on the West Coast and the American Red Cross in whatever manner possible, whether it be donating blood, donating to relief organizations, or volunteering at animal shelters.

Fortunately, Curtis' home was not ultimately lost in the fire. However, she still saw her neighborhood - the markets she shops in, the places her kids go, the restaurants her family eats at - all get impacted by the fires, she said on the Fallon show.

Beyoncé

After losing her childhood home in the L.A fires, Beyoncé has since pledged $2.5 million, through her charity BeyGood, to support other families who have lost their homes in the fire and to give back to the organizations helping victims.
