For Karissa, food isn’t just about taste—it’s a tool for empowerment. “I see food as a way to spread positivity and encourage people to embrace self-love—because everyone deserves to enjoy eating without guilt.” Her approach encourages followers to embrace the joy of eating without guilt, celebrating culture, flavor, and the simple pleasure of a good meal.
And speaking of good meals, when asked about the best dish she’s ever had, Karissa doesn’t hesitate. “Hands down, the best dish I’ve ever had was the Sesame Sichuan noodles from Shang Chi Noodles in Chengdu, China. The combination of nutty sesame flavors with the spicy, numbing Sichuan peppercorns was unforgettable—I think about them all the time.”

“One of the first things I’d tell aspiring content creators is that you can’t make everyone happy or get everyone to like you–trying to do so is a waste of time. All you can do is know yourself, define your brand, and focus on creating the most engaging content possible. Don’t listen to haters–they’re just trolls. Forget about them,” Karissa Eats said, advising her fans.
