Dior

Dior's Paris runway show featured many sporty outfits, keeping this year's athletic theme alive. Additionally, the show's location had a tie to the sporty theme of the show - Paris was home to the 2024 Summer Olympics. One highlight was that some outfits even resembled Greek goddesses.

Overall, everything was super creative from head to toe - the sneaker/sandal shoe is original. The best part: When famous archer Sagg Napoli walked the runway with a bow and arrow.

Chloe

Instead of creating many over-the-top runway outfits, Chloe's newest collection featured more realistic outfits. The show displayed short skirts and flowy bottoms paired with jackets and statement jewelry. It also featured a lot of light colors. Chemena Kamali did a fantastic job with this collection.

This show also recognized an up-and-coming trend: bubble skirts. You can find bubble skirts at REVOLVE, Free People, and, of course, Chloe.

Fendi

The Fendi show had a new take on sheer clothing. The line featured many patterned sheer items, along with partially sheer outfits. Additionally, it played around with silhouettes - there were a few bone-shoulder, ruffled dresses (that are absolutely stunning).

Also, it featured many outfits that were more straight instead of fitted. Other than the sheer looks, there were a ton of other looks as well. The collection showed long coats, satin outfits, and bedazzled handbags. The purses made the outfits - they were the perfect mix of formal and casual.

One trend that's here to stay is sheer clothing. On many different runways, but especially Fendi, the models had sheer (or semi-sheer) tops or bottoms. You can find sheer almost anywhere, however, you can always check Amazon for a quick option.

Many celebrities paid tribute to the sheer trend with their looks. A standout was Zoe Kravitz at Yves Saint Laurent's show - her black, patterned, sheer look was spectacular.

Sergio Hudson

Sergio Hudson's runway show took us back in time. It featured many looks that resembled 1960's fashion trends - and the designers are truly bringing it back in style with modern twists. There were many pastels, sequins, and buttons paired with corset and fitted tops, and low necklines.

There were even looks that had short-sleeved jackets and mini shorts or crop tops and maxi skirts. However, the highlight of this collection was the amount of formal dresses that could easily be worn to any event. I'm predicting that this show will bring the 1960's (with modern elements, of course) back into style. I highly recommend checking out the looks from this show - it is my personal favorite.

Tory Burch

Tory Burch's collection featured everything from athletic wear to work outfits. The athletic outfits featured bodysuits and sweatpants in different colors. The fit of these outfits was great - the bodysuits were the perfect amount of tight without being too clingy to the model's skin.

The workwear was also impressive - there were many trending color combinations, such as blue and gray. The true star of this show was the trench coat dresses - these were stunning.

One thing is clear - Polka dots are back and here to stay. If you want to join the trend, head to Anthropologie, Free People, or Tory Burch.

Grace Ling

Grace Ling's collection was nothing short of a success. The show took on sheer, micro mini clothes, and neutral color palettes and made them unique, whether it was through adding stripes over a sheer dress, using cutouts and asymmetrical hemlines, or layering looks with creative jackets. One of the most unique features of this show was the use of metallics.

Between an abstract micro mini dress and a gown with a bodice made up of silver pieces, these looks were different and exciting. Overall, this collection was creative and fun. Grace Ling made her mark on Fall 2024 Fashion Week and is sure to continue standing out in the future. Make sure to check out the lookbook from her September show.

This show highlighted neutral colors, especially brown. Brown has always been in style, however, it is more prevalent than ever this Fall. Make sure to stock up on brown-colored clothing and neutral colors next time you go to the mall.

Coperni

Coperni clearly wins for best location of Fall 2024 Fashion Week: Disneyland Paris! The show took place in front of the iconic Sleeping Beauty castle and featured a Disney-inspired collection. They began the show with pink lights on the castle, while models walked the runway in stunning princess-esq ensembles.

Then, the lighting was switched over to green, and a series of more villainous looks took the runway. These looks were predominantly black, featuring unique necklines and silhouettes. Finally, the castle turned to purple, and the designs were a combination of pastel princess and dark villain elements. The icing on the cake was Kylie Jenner closing the show in a black ball gown. Coperni Disney-inspired designs were inventive and exciting - Coperni's show has the best location and theme.

It's safe to say that Fall 2024 Fashion Week was a smashing success. All of the runway shows displayed the designer's creativity, which was super fun to watch. Another highlight was how different a lot of the collections were.

If you liked any of the shows, especially the ones that you just read, make sure to keep up with the previously mentioned trends. We get to see more creative lookbooks soon - February 2025 Fashion Week is only a short three months away!
