Chantecaille

Some brands push one product with a charitable cause or only provide for one organization. However, Chantecaille offers products to support multiple foundations that aid in wildlife conservation around the globe, including the WildAid Marina, Amazon Sacred Headwaters Initiative, and Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. They range in products like eyeshadows, blush, foundation, lipstick, and even sunscreen.

Each product goes toward a different region or species that needs our help. Since 2006, Chantecaille donated to organizations dealing with childhood hunger and climate change. Whatever product or shade you are looking for, there is a specialty product that is perfect for you and the planet. Eminence Organic Skin Care

“Buy a product, plant a tree.” That's the saying of the Eminence Organic Skin Care brand, where every product you buy goes through the Trees for the Future organization. In coordination with Eminence, the organization provides services to educate farmers and everyday people alike, hoping to integrate a healthier agricultural strategy that combats the rising issues of dangerous carbon emissions, degrading soil quality, and the lessening of the world's biodiversity. Eminence has seen plenty of love from celebrity after celebrity as well.

From Barbie Ferreira, Cole Sprouse, Suki Waterhouse, and even Jeremy Allen White, Eminence Organic Skin Care is a hit and must-have for any routine. It doesn't just work great but does great for the world, as seen here.

California Naturals

Haircare is another important step in many people's self-care routine. The woman-owned, Los Angeles-based brand, California Naturals is aware of this and its impact on the planet. They use recycled bottles while eliminating parabens, silicones, and sulfates from their products.

Instead, they create high-quality hair products, like shampoos, hair masks, and conditioners with environmentally conscious ingredients. Throughout January 2025, all profits from their website went to California wildfire relief through the LAFD Wildfire Emergency Fund, and they have since updated their 1% yearly revenue donation to be put towards efforts against climate deprivation. Even Owen Wilson is on their team! Check it out here!

Thrive Causemetics

Not just one specific "cause" is worked on by Thrive Causemetics (another woman-owned brand), but various programs and groups have seen support from this charitable brand. From cancer, racial inequality, education, homelessness, and more, they all have a place for resources under the Thrive community. By donating products or profits, they wish to empower the world with beauty.

They specialize in makeup and skincare, so there is bound to be something for everyone. There are over 550 nonprofit partners that Thrive works with, and by purchasing a product they will make a personal donation to them. Whatever you are an advocate of, Thrive is the place to show your support. Find out for yourself here.

Kiehl’s

This skincare brand has seen quite a following lately but has been around for over 170 years. In cohorts with the Ali Forney Center, a support system for LGBTQ+ youth, they design for all skin types. In the past, they partnered with Feeding America, the Trevor Project, Earth Day Network, and Gyrl Wonder.

Their current partner, Ali Forney, provides safe spaces for youth, guiding them through jobs, education, or mental health. They even open their doors to those who may be subject to living on the streets. On their website, you can find consultations and further information about their services: linked here.

Beauty does not mean sacrifice. You will probably buy makeup or skincare goods either way, but giving back to a cause you love makes it much more special. In a changing world, it is important to stand up for what you believe in, as these beauty brands have taught us. So, pick a product, pick a cause, and enjoy!
