With the crisp weather comes an abundance of new foods suited to everyone's palettes. Whether you're into salty or sweet, there is something for everyone.
Starting with salty, many chip and pretzels companies come out with new flavors for Halloween. For example, some brands may have a maple or pumpkin-flavored chip. These new tastes help convert the ordinary snack into something more fun and enjoyable for the season.
In addition, many pretzel producers will make their pretzels different for the fall. It is common for them to include bat or pumpkin-shaped pretzels for Halloween time or leaf-molded ones for the autumn. While these pretzels are still technically the same as regular ones that you find all year round, they are more fun for children and can bring a smile to your face when reaching into the snack bag.
Besides shapes, many pretzel corporations also make dipped pretzels, with the dip being orange-dyed chocolate or yogurt much of the time. This coating doesn't just bring a new element to your otherwise typical and sometimes mundane snack but also makes it more appealing to look at and eat.
If salty foods aren't your forte, there are plenty of sweet fall foods as well. Cakes, cookies, and ice creams all come out with fall flavors every year, spicing up your typical chocolate and vanilla. Many major snack brands that you may know of, such as Oreo cookies, come out with pumpkin spice-flavored cookies. Entenmann's even makes pumpkin donut holes.
In the ice cream area, pumpkin-flavored ice cream is made by many of the ice cream companies that you see in your local store. And while the main flavor listed here is pumpkin, there are others as well, such as maple, cinnamon, and even apple caramel! All of these taste delicious and divine, and help show why fall is the best season out of them all.

Despite fall meaning the end of summer bathing suits, sundresses, and shorts, the doors to fashion remain open. A new season brings new clothing choices and new trends.
Some of these clothing transitions may seem basic; short sleeves to long sleeves don't seem that exciting. But it can be much more than that. When putting on your new fall wardrobe, you can choose to make it as fun as you'd like. This can be seen in the designs you pick, the brands and stores you shop at, and the way you pair your clothes together in order to make a full and fantastic outfit.
The first—and perhaps most popular trend and style—is plaid. Whether it be a pleated mini skirt, a wool scarf, or even a typical button-down slouchy shirt, plaid is the style for fall. Plaid is typically seen with darker colors, such as black, brown, red, and green.
However, many designers are starting to make plaid designs with brighter colors, such as with pink or blue. These colors, while typically seen more in the spring or summer, are being used more in fall, in contrast to its usual darker palette.
Along with that, the stores you buy your fits at can make or break your outfit. Many teen stores, such as Hollister and American Eagle, produce an entirely new fall line that is completely different from their usual clothes. These lines can include new skirts and sweaters, as well as jeans. By shopping at these places you will easily be able to upgrade your closet to include more fall-friendly pieces that will make you enjoy picking out your school outfits every morning.
Last but not least, pairing your clothes is instrumental in making your fashionista self shine through. By matching your new fall pieces together you will be able to make the perfect outfit. Specifically, you should make sure your clothes are very cozy.
Don't wear an itchy sweater with tight jeans, for example, as this combination will make you feel uncomfortable all day long and cause you to hate your outfit. Instead, pair your warm and comfortable clothes together, especially on days when you will be sitting for long periods of time like during a test. By doing all these things, you will be sure to have a perfect fall day with the perfect outfit to go with it.
Halloween

The spooky season, as many call it, is one of the prime reasons why fall is many people's favorite season.
Halloween brings pumpkins, horror movies, and candy. Pumpkins are one of the most intriguing things that come with Halloween due to how much they can be used for. For example, pies are one of the delicacies that come with this fruit.
Even more fun than baked goods are the jack-o'-lanterns that can be carved from pumpkins! When carving pumpkins, you can make any design that you like. Even better, this activity is family-friendly. Parents and kids can go to a pumpkin patch and pick out their favorite squashes and, with the parent's guidance, make their own scarily cool jack-o'-lanterns.
Moreover, Halloween is a time for high spirits because of the spooky movies that it brings. For some, horror movies are the best movies to exist, and Halloween is full of them. Many cable television channels will play horror movies from late September through November, making it the perfect season to rewatch your beloved films.
Additionally, many movie theaters will release new horror movies in the fall, which makes for a perfect afternoon outing if you are into those kinds of screenings. Even movie viewers who dislike horror films can find a non-frightening movie to watch in the fall. Many Halloween-themed movies, especially ones made by Disney, are not scary but rather just have a “spooky” feel to them.
For instance, Halloweentown is a popular family film that embraces Halloween but does so in a comfortable way so as to not scare its viewers or keep anyone on their toes. This movie, along with many Disney and non-Disney created movies, are examples of fall-season films that are not in the horror category.
Although many dislike fall because it signals the end of summer, fall is the best holiday because of all the fun new things it brings, such as snacks, fashion trends, and holiday spirit. Without fall, the year would not be complete.
