It's a Saturday morning, and you are making plans with your girls to hang out, but your usual pastimes seem all too boring. Watching a movie, going out to eat, going to the mall? Been there, done that.

What you need is a unique excursion that is fun and relaxing, all while reflecting your appreciation for an aesthetically pleasing time. Each with a gorgeous location, an appealing activity, and a trendy outfit, here is a list of six aesthetic ideas for your next girl's outing:

1. Farmers' Market Morning

The farmers' market is the perfect place for shopping and grabbing a bite to eat, all while hanging out with your friends. Plus, by visiting the farmers' market, you are helping to support small businesses.

Spend the morning at the farmers' market: grab breakfast or brunch (there is a wide variety of foods that will satisfy even your most picky friend), pick out some fresh fruit of the season to enjoy either now or later, and browse the rest of the goods. There is honey, jewelry, plants, artwork, popcorn, you name it! Even if you choose to keep your spending limits low, all the shops are bursting with such lovely color that it is fun even just to look at.

2. Album Shopping

A good way for you and your friends to learn more about each other is to share music tastes with one another. Music is a dazzling form of expression, and your current favorite song is usually your personality's latest vibe. The best way for your friend group to share music? Album shopping!

Gather your group of girls and visit a record shop. If there is no record shop nearby, visit your local Barnes and Noble, which usually has a rather small but trendy selection of vinyls. Browse the selection, and learn your friends' favorites while they learn yours.

Pick one or two to buy, and then head back home or to wherever the record player is to regroup and listen to every song you each chose. Have a full-blown dance party, or just chill with the music in the background.

3. Berry Picking

A perfect complement to these upcoming sunny days are the sweet and refreshing taste of berries. Berry picking allows you and your friends to enjoy nature's sweetest gift. Dress up in your prettiest sundress so you can take cute pictures with your girls as well!

To enjoy a wonderful day spend picking berries, make plans to have lunch before or after (usually food isn't allowed), and then head to the farm, hopefully on a day with sunny weather. To find a good place for berry picking, it is best to visit a farm that offers designated "u-pick" berries, which are usually strawberries, but there are other berry options as well. The views of seemingly endless berries along with the heavenly flavors in your mouth can make this literally sweet outing with your friends unforgettable.

4. Picnic

It's picnic time: a delectable lunch with your friends while enjoying a picturesque spot outdoors. Pack a lunch (it's more fun to make yourself) with a variety of sandwiches, desserts, and refreshing drinks. Alternatively, try making an irresistible charcuterie-style lunch with crackers, dip, fruit, cheese, and other mini finger foods of the sort.

A picnic basket is more aesthetically pleasing to hold all of your goods, but a cooler or lunch box should work too. Bring a picnic blanket, too: an old sheet or a couple of beach towels would be perfect.

A picnic is also a gorgeous opportunity for a photoshoot, of course! Wear a cute yet comfortable outfit; I recommend embracing florals or a pastel color palette. The location is super important, as well.

Find a spot at your favorite park, beach, or botanical garden. If choosing to visit a botanical garden, please check ahead of time to make sure food is allowed. Then, set up your feast and have fun.

5. Photo Booth

Have you and your girls all squeeze into a photobooth whenever you spot one; they can be found at the mall, at a carnival, or any other event. Photo booths give vintage-feeling pictures that are printed for you to hang in your room or locker, ensuring that the wonderful memories made with your friends can last forever.

There are two ways I like to take pictures at a photobooth. First, the obvious, cram everyone (if your friend group is big, maybe split into two groups) into the little booth and take pictures together at the same time. For groups of three, there is an alternate method.

Photo booths usually take four pictures, so have each person jump in the booth for their solo photo, and for the last take, all jump in together. The end result will look like this: first picture is Friend #1, second picture is Friend #2, third picture is Friend #3, and the last picture is all three of you together.

Also, although the classic "cheeeeeese" smile is always fun, don't be afraid to embrace silly faces!

6. DIY Seashell Necklaces

Spring has sprung, which means that it's swimsuit season! What's a better accessory to go with your beachy outfits than a seashell necklace? And, even better: you can DIY it, a perfect pastime to enjoy with your friends while spending time outdoors.

Personally it's one of my favorite beach activities. So, ready to get creative? You only need two materials: craft seashells (store-bought) and yarn/string. Choose any color of seashell and yarn you'd like, and let it reflect your personal style. Make matching ones with your girls if you'd like! There are plenty of tutorials online to get the perfect result.

Final Thoughts

A girl's outing is most enjoyable when spent with people you love and who love you, no matter what acitivity you guys decide to do together. Remember, good friends is key to a good time! Have fun!
