Teenagerhood is a time of growth, exploration, and independence. It’s a period of self-discovery when we feel too much and understand too little. That makes it a messy yet brilliant experience to learn new lessons every day and see the world from a higher perspective.
Over these past months, I have learned so much from others and myself. Observing the ways we live and love, I have realised things that I wish I had known before, and today I'm gonna tell you everything I wish someone told me before I had to learn the hard way.

As teenagers, loving our fate—no matter how uncertain or difficult—can be one of the most powerful things we do. Life at this stage is full of change, confusion, and moments where things don’t go as planned. But embracing our fate means accepting that every experience, good or bad, is shaping us into the person we are meant to become.
Every path leads us to the better versions of ourselves. Sometimes, things don’t go the way we planned—friendships end, dreams shift, doors close. But every experience, even the ones that seem unfair or meaningless now, is leading us somewhere important. Loving our fate means trusting that our journey has a purpose, even if we don’t see it yet.

2. Don’t Waste Time
Just imagine our life as an hourglass – As every second passes, the sand slowly and slowly vanishes. It keeps going and going, not slowing down for laughter or speeding up for sorrow. It simply moves—steadily, indifferently, beautifully—pushing the world forward, moment by moment. Time is priceless because it cannot be brought.
The cost of wasting time is not measured in dollars or cents but in the unfulfilled potential of ourselves. Wasted time is the weight of "what ifs" and the echo of chances left untaken. David Goggins once said: "Time is the one thing you can't get back.
Once it's gone, it's gone. So why the [censored] would you waste it?" So, my friend, don’t waste your beautiful life because every day should be a celebration, a new chance to start over again.

3. "Face Your Fears – Kierkegaard"
A lot of us are driven by fear and anxiety, the disease we need to confront and kill. Rather than running from fear, I believe that we must embrace it, using it as a catalyst for self-discovery and personal transformation. Just take a leap of faith. Do something you normally would not do and see just how freeing and liberating it feels not to be scared of uncertainties or worries anymore.

4. "Let It Go"
This is such a big thing that I learned in my life – Let go of what you cannot control, what you stress about, and let go of the fear of failure or rejection. Letting go of stuff that does not serve you is a form of self-love.

Holding onto things tightly that are not good for us destroys us in the end: The more you want something, the more you chase after it, and the more it runs from you. So, let go and embrace your freedom in this world. Remember: you were born to be free.
5. Greatness is Within
We are so desperate for greatness, victory and success that we forget that the greatest conquest comes from within. We are the ones who create ourselves every day; we shape our experiences and we choose ways to express our potential. Everything comes from within.
Marcus Aurelius, the Stoic philosopher and Roman emperor, put it perfectly: "You have power over your mind—not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength." Success isn’t something handed to us—it’s something we build. It doesn’t come from serendipity, circumstances, or other people.
It comes from the choices we make, the effort we put in, and the mindset we adopt. We are the creators of our fates.

In the end, what I learned is the need to celebrate and fully trust ourselves. We create our own path not by following footprints, but by daring to step where no one has before. Every choice we make, every risk we take, carves a road that is uniquely ours. Trust me, today's mistakes will become your stepping stones and challenges will turn into bridges to success.
