The sun is finally shining a bit brighter and the spring weather is finally coming around. I never thought I was such a huge spring fan, but the warmer weather is truly making me feel like I am defrosting.

More than anything, I am so excited to finally ditch the giant oversized puffer jackets and the stuffy sweaters and change into something more light, fun, colorful, and all-around exciting. There are 3 ultimate vibes that I think fit perfectly into the spring season:
- Touch of Western: A mini dress or denim mini skirt paired with the coolest, slightly edgy, but overall western boots is the way to go.
- Sporty and Chic: Athleisure has been in for the longest time, and it’s never going away. If you want to dress up the look without just going with plain activewear tops and leggings, give your look a bit of an edge with some classy sneakers that aren’t overdone.
- Casual Sunshine Season: If there ever is a time to bring out the sundresses, it has to be the spring season. After all, you can never be too overdressed- if you look good and feel good in it, embrace it all!

As someone obsessed with fashion, I think the ultimate thing that completes the outfit is the accessories and the shoes. After doing a ton of searching around online, I am completely obsessed with how convenient, affordable, and easy DSW is.
Shop DSW at dsw.com

With tons of brands to pick from and easily some of the best affordable price points, DSW makes it so easy to shop for shoes. For someone that is as indecisive and picky about shopping as me, DSW genuinely makes it simple for me to pick out the shoes that literally fit just right.
Plus, all of their styles are so ahead on the trends, and witht the constant promo codes and deals happening on their site, I love that I don’t constantly have to be splurging on my student budget to have a pair of shoes I love.

Without further ado, these are the absolute must-haves you are going to want in your wardrobe for the spring season:
Touch of Western with Boots
The latest trend for the spring weather is all about Western, and I’m kind of obsessed with it.
People used to only wear boots for country concerts, but it’s starting to become so much normalized to wear them out and about, and I am totally obsessed.

It can be hard to decide between a cowboy boot or a complete edgy black heeled boot or a simple leather one, but I have to say that if you want something classic enough to withstand the flurry of trends that always happen and is over in a blink of an eye, the leather ones are it.
When I first came across the Phillipa Boot on DSW, it was complete love at first sight.
With the buckled strap accents, the burnishings at the toe and heel counter, and the matte black brushed-out leather look, these boots are the most chic thing ever.
I also love how there are double zippers on these; they make it so much easier to wear around, and for those with wider calves, these make wearing boots actually possible.
These boots are the perfect in-between of grunge going-out and chic everyday, and I love pairing these with a cute mini skirt or a simple mini dress. Talk about perfect for springtime!
Sporty and Chic with Sneakers
If you have been sick of seeing the same pair of Adidas Sambas everywhere, let me put you on to th Adidas VL Court Bold Platform Sneakers.
These are genuienly the most comfortable sneakers ever, and I love it combines the skating culture with a streetwear vibe. Whether you feel like you’re a New Yorker at heart or a total Cali person, this caters to both of the streetwear hubs.
The sneakers feature a low cut look with a leather upper, and with the iconic signature stripes, this is as classic as it gets.
The VL Court comes in multiple different colorways, but my favorite has to be the white and red combination; it is so effortlessly cool, clean, and crisp. I love that the red is neutral enough to look good with just about any outfit, but still has such a vivid pop of color to give it some personality and edge.
Plus, I think a little platform is genuinely the best thing. I love how it gives me a little boost and it just looks so much more elevated than the extremely flat shoes.
Casual Sunshine Season with Sandals
I personally love a good sundress moment, and I think we could all get behind on embracing colors and prints for the sunny weather of spring.
One of my favorite go-to shoes with a sundress is a good pair of sandals, and this gorgeous pair of Journee Collection is a favorite because of how comfortable they are. Usually with sandals, I always struggle walking around in them for over three hours, but with these ones, the cushioned footbed goes a long way.
I also love how simple and chic these pairs are; the two puffed woven bands are somewhere between bohemian and edgy, and the neutral color of the shoes are so simple and fun to wear around.
Whether you opt to dress it down with a simple midi skirt or keep it classy with some white jeans and a blouse, there are so many endless possibilities for these simple yet stunning heels.
